To make dentistry more accessible, Moorooka Dental Care offers that if you have a health fund that covers dental, you will receive a gap-free (no out-of-pocket costs) check-up, cleans, x-rays, and fluoride treatment, and if you don’t have a health fund, you will only be charged $169. We also use the Child Dental Benefits Scheme to bulk bill all children that are eligible (CDBS). For any treatment that is required, we also offer interest-free and no-deposit payment plans.
All of the major health funds consider Moorooka Dental Care as a preferred provider. We are the only provider in the area who accepts Medibank Private Members’ Choice and Bupa Members First Platinum. We’re also a preferred provider for CBHS and NIB, and we’re part of the HCF’s “More for Teeth” program. All of this means that any treatment you require will be relatively inexpensive.
These health funds have chosen us, and we agree to follow their fee schedules while also providing the best possible patient care and dental treatment. In comparison to a dentist who isn’t in their network, the health funds will pay you a higher rebate for all of your dental treatment at Moorooka Dental Care. This gives you peace of mind about the cost of your visit to Moorooka Dental Care.
Please make sure you have your health insurance card with you when you come in for your appointment. This offer is only available to patients who have available health fund rebates and haven’t reached their health fund’s dental limits. If your health plan does not cover dental treatment or if your annual limits have been reached, your health fund won’t give us reimbursement, and we may be forced to charge you with our standard fee for any dental treatment.
